Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between chlorinated and salt water pools?
A: Salt water feels softer on your skin, but don't add your guppies just yet. Both pool types use chlorine.
Chlorinated pools require weekly tablets to sanitize and prevent algae growth as well as well as a high dose of chlorine upon opening the pool. It will not harm pool fixtures, however can be harsh on the skin and hair when chemicals are first added. Chlorinated pools do not require extra equipment, but do require chemicals on a weekly basis.
Salt water pools use an electric chlorinator and filter to convert the salt into chlorine. Chlorine levels are monitored automatically and new salt is added as needed. Mid-range chlorine levels won't damage skin and hair, but salt water can rust any unprotected metal fixtures. Salt water pools have an equipment investment up front, however no weekly chemicals are required.
Q: Do you consider doing pool projects that are not part of your weekly cleaning clientele?
A: Yes! We heart new customers, even if they are not part of the weekly cleaning schedule.
Q: Are your prices or services negotiable?
A: We are able to negotiate as much as the mechanic that performs oil changes is able to negotiate. We are unable to create custom pricing packages. What is listed is what everyone pays. Similarly, we do not negotiate service frequency nor quality. We only offer custom service packages for extenuating circumstances (year-around service). Not settling for anything less is how we maintain the highest quality in the business.
